I explore an idea that Eliza Griswold and I touched upon Monday: How to understand someone and get him or her to trust you when the two of you come from different classes. I'd never really felt and been confined by the borders of class until I moved to Boston. How I climbed over that border only to realize that I'd penned in myself again is the story of this episode.
The story of this episode is also the story of Vito Gray, always and only Vito, to everyone who knew him, a one-name underworld king, who later made peace with the man whom he'd ordered stabbed.
